There’s much to admire about Clay who begin their UK tour this month. With the release of their debut EP Heaven last month the four-piece are expected to bring a mix of lovesick, softly spoken lyrics with delicate beats and memorable choruses.
Support and success and more support and more success. Clay have received airplay on Radio One and landed a number of festival slots this summer. With this being Clay’s first headline tour, there’s a lot of excitement surrounding the band.
Why?, Nothing Happened and Honest make up the 3 track EP. And with a mixture of contagious electronic funk flowing throughout, it’s easy to see why the band’s got everyone’s heads turning.
Clay headline The Moon Club, Cardiff next Monday with support from We’re No Heroes and Fossette. With We’re No Heroes enjoying similar success to Clay with the release of singles Voodoo and Stay Weird the band will bring a funky vibe and a whole lotta old school bass aesthetics combined with more simple drumming to make a righteous sound willing to fill The Moon.
New kids on the block, Fossette, are not ones to miss. The Bristol four-piece have been attracting attention on social medias following the release of hit single Polar and they had all eyes on them ever since.
