Harley Alexander – “Staring at Photographs”

In a remote glacial cabin in Quebec, Harley Alexander is hard at work producing his next enchantingly meditative pop album: Harland. The first track from Harley’s latest creation Staring at Photographs, is a sultry folk memento twanging with nostalgia. Harley longingly sings about the enjoyment yet inexorable unease that follows us when we divulge into our respective pasts; ‘You know it’s going to a long time for this soul to heal’. Wistfully jaded and compassionate, Staring At Photographs is the archetype of a lazy pop tune.

Harley Alexander is to release Harland this July 22nd with DIY label Sports Day Records on limited green cassette.

Harley Alexander will play a number of US dates over the summer:

Tuesday 26th July – Cheer Up Charlies, Austin, TX

Thursday 28th July – House Show, Denton, TX

Wednesday 3rd August – Downtown Players Club, Atlanta, GA

Thursday 4th August – Local Space, Nashville, TN
